The Government of Canada took a special initiative in 2018 for the benefit of foreign students known as STUDENT DIRECT STREAM (SDS) 🇨🇦
If you apply through this student direct stream, instead of showing the bank statement of 40-50 lakhs, you have to open an account in a bank designated by the Canadian government with 7 lakhs and this 7 lakhs will be returned by the Canadian government within one year. Which is the biggest advantage of this stream.

Due to not being able to show this 40-50 lakhs bank statement, many students have to give up their dreams even though they are qualified. Thousands of students are sitting on the bandwagon for 5 years due to showing fake bank statements through agencies. Other conditions for this stream are 6 in each band only in IELTS and first year tuition fee must be paid in advance. Many colleges/universities outside of Ontario are DLI (DESIGNATED LEARNING INSTITUTE) and PGWP (POST GRADUATE WORK PERMIT) for one year. Tuition fee is Tk 5-6 lakh. In short, if Bangladesh is included in STUDENT DIRECT STREAM (SDS), an ordinary student will be able to go to Canada by spending only Tk 13-14 lakh and within this Tk 7 lakh is approved by the Canadian government instead of bank statement. Keep it as GIC in the bank, that 7 lakh rupees will be returned by the Canadian government within one year.

Although Bangladesh is included in the Student Direct Stream, the system currently in operation, if anyone does not want to apply in the SDS SYSTEM, then they can apply in the current system. Sadly, the truth is that many countries in Asia are included in the SDS, but due to the indifference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and the High Commission of Bangladesh in Canada, Bangladesh is still Not got SDS Status. In Asia India, Pakistan, China, Vietnam, Philippines are included in SDS. Due to the absence of bank statement problems in SDS system, the VISA SUCCESS RATE is very high and visas are available in just 20 days. In this SDS system, India sends lakhs of students to Canada every year, while Bangladesh cannot send even 4,000 students annually. The poor children of India get 10-15 Going to Canada with lakhs of student loans and slowly paying off the loan, getting PR.

Getting SDS for Bangladesh is not a big deal, only a small initiative by Bangladesh High Commission in Canada and Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs is enough. Bangladesh has everything now only to open a GIC account and keep Tk 7 lakh, if the Bangladesh government makes an agreement with any bank approved by the Canadian government, the process will move faster. our

The purpose of opening this group is to bring this issue to the attention of the concerned Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bangladesh High Commission in Canada and request that everyone take necessary steps in this regard. Since Bangladesh is not included in SDS, many people still do not know about this. The more people in the group, the better. The chances of success of this initiative will increase as some may have known journalists, some may have known foreign cadres, things that will act as catalysts in this initiative.

Finally, I wish the success of this initiative so that the children of middle class or upper middle class families from Bangladesh like India can easily go to Canada for higher education and stand by the country and family.
